Why the Ravens selected CB Iman Marshall

Iman Marshall fits the Baltimore Ravens defensive scheme. Ravens CBs typically are long, good tacklers and grabby. Marshall was a four-year starter for the USC Trojans, being tested against the likes of John Ross, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, N’Keal Harry, Miles Boykin, Parris Campbell, Terry McLaurin, Chris Godwin and Calvin Ridley, to name a few. Iman has been penalized frequently for defensive holding and pass interference, but so was Marlon Humphrey at Alabama. In college, surrendering 15 yards is far better than getting beat over the top.
