As a follow up to new Baltimore Beatdown staff writer Logan Levy’s popular piece on the most disappointing Raven so far, this is the glass half full version. There are plenty of Ravens players that require consideration as the most encouraging through the first five games.
Michael Pierce deserves top billing on this list. The undrafted rookie defensive tackle has played 112 snaps, almost 40% of the defensive total. Pierce has been instrumental in the Ravens run defense that is 4th in yard per game and 7th in yards per attempt.
Zach Orr is leading the team in tackles and creating turnovers, the up-and-comer has been one of the the most encouraging players so far this season.
