Joe Flacco’s cap number next season, as it stands today, is $28.55M. We all know that will change. Joe’s deal was essentially structured as a 3-year deal with a balloon “payment” intended to be refinanced prior to the start of the 2016 season.
The new deal has to happen and it has to happen prior to the new league year in March when the free agency period begins.
