Former Baltimore Ravens safety Eric Weddle made a surprise visit to Canton today to appear at the Brigance Brigade 6th Annual 5.7K Championship Race, and 1.57 Mile Family Fun Run and Walk.
“I’m here to surprise O.J.,” Weddle said, referring to the race’s founder, former Ravens player and now Ravens executive O.J. Brigance,” who suffers from ALS (Lou Gherig’s Disease).

Weddle was released by the Ravens in March, after three seasons. He has now signed with the Los Angeles Rams.
