I was honored to join Coach Vass, who is a defensive consultant at the collegiate and high school level, in breaking down the schemes that Ravens mastermind defensive coordinator Wink Martindale deployed to shut down Justin Herbert and the Chargers high powered offense.
I would recommend watching that video, as well as my own, to get into detail in the shortcomings that the Chargers had when attacking the Ravens defense.
DeShon Elliott getting healthy and inserting Josh Bynes into the defensive lineups were imperative for the Ravens defense.
