Maybe Breshad Perriman, the son of former NFL receiver Brett Perriman, was destined to end up sitting in that Chicago draft day green room Thursday night.
In some ways, he's been preparing his whole life to sit in that seat next to his childhood sports hero, which luckily for him, also happens to be his father.
Maybe that's why the younger Perriman says he doesn't feel nervous. Or maybe it's simply because he hasn't stepped into the brightest spotlight yet.
"I don't think it's really fully hit me about everything that's going on. But I'm sure if you ask me Thursday, I'll be nervous," Breshad Perriman chuckled Monday.
