Twenty years ago, Ravens' first draft delivered historic, surprising turns

On April 20, 1996, Jonathan Ogden didn't think he was going end up with the Baltimore Ravens, and Ray Lewis didn't even know the name of the new football franchise in Baltimore. Unbeknownst to them, they would turn a relocated franchise into a championship one.

The course of team history was set 20 years ago, when the fledgling Ravens selected the massive Ogden with the No. 4 overall pick and the undersized Lewis with the No. 26 pick. Ogden became the Pro Bowl cornerstone to Baltimore's offense, and Lewis was the All-Pro centerpiece to its defense.
