During the 2023 NFL trade deadline, rumors swirled that the Baltimore Ravens were in elevated talks to acquire Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry. But once the deadline passed, Henry remained a Titan. More rumors spread on social media that a deal was “in place” for Henry but Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk vetoed the trade.
Last week, The Athletic’s Dan Pompei published an article which the trade was agreed to.
“DeCosta agreed to the framework of a trade with Tennessee general manager Ran Carthon — a fourth-round pick that could have become a third had Henry reached certain production levels,” Pompei wrote.
