There doesn’t appear to be any hint of acrimony between the Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson despite a wedge that members of the media are trying to drive between the two sides.
ESPN’s Ryan Clark and Adam Shefter have suggested that Jackson should not practice or play until he reaches a long-term deal with the team.
“He deserves to be in that 40 million-plus crew. … I believe that’s what he needs to get to even walk on the grass in Baltimore,” Clark said on ESPN.
Nonetheless, Jackson has not given any indication that he is going to hold out.
