15 years ago today, the Baltimore Ravens captured their first Super Bowl title in franchise history as they went on to completely destroy the New York Giants in Super Bowl 35 by the score of 34-7. The Ravens were dominant from start to finish. In a game where the Ravens offense was doubted going in, they managed to score 20 points against the Giants fifth ranked defense.
In those days, when the Ravens led by three points, it felt like a 10 point deficit to opposing offenses. The 2000 Ravens defense is one of the few defenses in NFL history where people couldn't wait for the offense to get off the field so that the defense can continue to dominate.
