Part of the reason for the struggles of the Baltimore Ravens this season, and ultimately the current 4-8 record, has been the lack of production of the 2015 rookie class.
Rookies are not expected to step in right away and be the star at their position on the team, but they are expected to at a minimum provide some depth and quality snaps. Breshad Perriman never touched the field, Maxx Williams and Carl Davis have contributed sparingly, Za’Darius Smith has played frequently but never made an impact, Darren Waller flashed prior to an injury, Tray Walker has failed to contribute and Nick Boyle showed promise, but cancelled that out with a four-game suspension.
