The Ravens should not select a WR with the 16th overall pick

The Baltimore Ravens have been somewhat active thus far during the offseason, despite their limited cap space. Baltimore re-signed James Hurst and Brent Urban, while signing wide receivers John Brown and Michael Crabtree. In addition, they declined Austin Howard’s option, picked up Brandon Carr’s and restructured Brandon Williams’ contract to create cap space. While they released Danny Woodhead, Jeremy Maclin and Lardarius Webb.

With the Ravens adding a couple players and filling some roster holes, the hierarchy of their needs have changed. The signings of Crabtree and Brown have solidified wide receiver, pushing it lower than right tackle and tight end.
