Back to the Baltimore Ravens Newsfeed

The Baltimore quarterback is set to return in preseason play for the first time in years.

Joe Flacco has dealt with two major injuries over the course of two and half seasons. In 2015, Flacco tore his ACL against the then St. Louis Rams in waning minutes of the game. He would miss the 2016 NFL preseason and return for a full 16-game slate during the regular season. Flacco would then injure his back during the 2017 offseason and missed the entirety of the preseason once more.

The 33-year old quarterback will now play in a preseason game for the first time since 2015. Ironically enough, Flacco will play against the team that he injured his knee against in 2018 - the Los Angeles Rams.
