Terrance West Signs His Restricted Free Agent Contract

Running back Terrance West put pen to paper Monday afternoon, signing his original-round restricted free agent tender. West was the Ravens’ last remaining restricted free agent to sign his tender.

West led Baltimore in rushing yards (774), attempts (193) and rushing touchdowns last season (five). He also caught 34 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown.

The Baltimore product was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round in 2014, but didn’t find a groove until he came back home in 2015. West started 13 games last year and played in all 16.

He’s projected to be the team’s starter once again in 2017 as Kenneth Dixon is suspended for the first four games of the regular season and free-agent addition Danny Woodhead is expected to have more of a receiving role.
