If another team wants Terrance West, it will take a third-round pick to get the Baltimore Ravens' leading rusher.
West received a low/original-round tender from the Ravens as a restricted free agent, a league source confirmed Tuesday night. It will pay him $1.797 million -- nearly triple his $600,000 base salary from last season -- and essentially secures his return to Baltimore. But if the Ravens don't match an offer sheet from another team, they would get a third-round pick (West was selected in that round in 2014) as compensation.
This comes after West's best season in the NFL.
