The Republican candidates for president haven't exactly endeared themselves to Baltimore football fans leading up to Tuesday's primary.
Ted Cruz, who trails Donald Trump in Maryland by double digits in many polls, cost himself a chance to score some points when he sidestepped the question about whether Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is elite.
“You know what? I will let the fans answer that question and I will let the results answer that question,” Cruz told WBAL-TV in Baltimore.
It was only last Thursday when Trump got booed at a Maryland rally after bringing up his love for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
