Expected to Reach $4.7 Billion
Whether you’ve taken to online gambling sites or your friendly neighborhood pub to grab a couple of spots in a block pool, Super Bowl betting will be a way of life for tens of millions this Sunday. According to the American Gaming Association, $4.7 billion will be bet on Super Bowl 51, $4.5 billion (97%) of which will include bets that are placed illegally.
Of course there are those interesting prop bets which take on many forms, some of which are in-game wagers, while others include silly things such as the first song halftime entertainer Lady Gaga will play.
