Zero quarterbacks were called in the first round in 1974, 1984, 1985, 1988 and 1996. When the Ravens wrote down Lamar Jackson’s name for the final pick of the first, Baltimore selected a quarterback on the first day of the draft for the first time since selecting Joe Flacco with the 18th overall pick in the 2008 draft.
