So, who’s happy with the start of the Ravens offseason?
Don’t everybody raise your hands at once.
Oh, the mood around the Flock Faithful was one of unbridled exuberance after the Ravens signed safety Marcus Williams and Morgan Moses. It was bordering on full-blown euphoria after word came out that former pass-rusher Za’Darius Smith had agreed to come home and hunt quarterbacks for the team that drafted him, but that parade was rained on when Smith, well, showed that his word meant less to him than his wallet.
The parade got a little soggier when the team brought back Michael Pierce to man the middle of the Ravens’ defensive front, and retained veteran free agents Pat Ricard, Josh Bynes and Calais Campbell.
