Wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. was asked for the second time in less than a week if his plans to retire after this season were intact, and maintained that his plans haven’t changed despite the Ravens’ downturn in circumstances this season.
“I’m taking it one game at a time -- not really focusing on that other stuff,” Smith said. “I’m on schedule for what I discussed earlier in the year, and I’m enjoying it with the wins and losses.”
Smith has had a terrific year -- he leads the Ravens with 36 catches, 510 receiving yards and three touchdown catches despite playing only five games — but he’s more focused on the team’s struggles.
