A pair of injured Ravens offensive stars, running back Justin Forsett and wide receiver Steve Smith Sr., struck different tones Friday when discussing their chances of playing Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
Coach John Harbaugh said he’d have several game-time decisions to make on injured veterans like Forsett, Smith and linebacker Elvis Dumervil, and others, but Smith, who has micro fractures in his back suffered in Week 4 against Pittsburgh, seemed pessimistic of his chances.
“To be honest, my expectation of playing is very low,” Smith said.
He added later: “Just how I feel today, it doesn’t look like I can go as much as I would like to.
