Even with the return of top wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. (microfractures in back) and tight end Crockett Gillmore (calf strain) to practice Wednesday, the Ravens' list of injury concerns still managed to grow as 10 players sat out.
Gillmore came back after missing the past two games with a strained calf, but made a big impact before his injury with 151 yards and two touchdowns. Smith, the Ravens' leading receiver, suffered his back injury against the Steelers and has sat out since.
Several top players, including running back Justin Forsett (ankle), outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil (groin) and cornerback Lardarius Webb (thigh), sat out with injuries suffered in Sunday’s 33-30, overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns.
