OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens were missing nearly one-third of their starters in Wednesday's practice.
Seven starters, including leading receiver Steve Smith Sr., were absent as Baltimore began preparations for Sunday's game at the New York Giants.
In addition to Smith being sidelined with an ankle injury, wide receiver Mike Wallace (ribs) was wearing a red non-contact jersey. This could mean a bigger workload for Kamar Aiken, last year's leading receiver who has only six catches this season.
On the offensive line, tackles Ronnie Stanley (foot) and Rick Wagner (thigh) along with Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda weren't present.
