With 2:16 left to play in the Washington Commanders vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday, edge rusher Alex Highsmith suffered an ankle injury that officially rules him out against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. As he pressured Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels and notched his eighth quarterback hit this season, he landed on his ankle.

After the game, Highsmith was seen in a walking boot and today, Head Coach Mike Tomlin announced that while the injury isn’t season-ending, Highsmith will miss Sunday’s game against the Ravens and he’ll be week-to-week.
