The Ravens are signing former Army quarterback Trent Steelman to a contract and cutting undrafted rookie quarterback Jerry Lovelocke (Edmondson), according to sources.
Steelman tried out this week at wide receiver during an audition that included former Grambling quarterback D.J. Williams, retired Washington Redskins quarterback Doug Williams' son, and former West Georgia quarterback Austin Trainor.
Steelman was offered a rookie contract by the Ravens two years ago, but was unable to accept because of his service commitment.
Steelman played wide receiver for Team USA football this summer and was named Most Valuable Player of the International Olympic Committee International Federation of American Football men's senior world championship.
