On the morning of July 26, 2016, the Atlanta Falcons released Devin Hester. Hester is the second receiver the Falcons have released this offseason. Back in March, the Falcons let go of Roddy White who had been with the team for 11 years. Both Hester and White are players who were formerly stars but both are getting up there in terms of age.
Yet, both Hester and White aren't seeing their release as the end of the road. They have both said that they want don't want to retire and that they want to play for a contender.
