Several injured Ravens return as Kendrick Lewis, Timmy Jernigan sit out

Wide receiver Marlon Brown and rookie cornerback Tray Walker returned to practice Monday after a week out with injuries, while defensive starters Kendrick Lewis and Timmy Jernigan were absent.

Brown, who missed time with a back issue and then a hamstring issue, had been out since last Sunday, while Walker pulled his hamstring on Sunday and hadn’t practiced since.

Also returning were tight end Maxx Williams (eye) and guard Kelechi Osemele (foot/ankle). Both were at the beginning of Sunday’s practice, too, before leaving about a half-hour in.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Steve Smith, who was dealing with a family issue, also returned, as did outside linebacker Zach Thompson, who hadn’t practiced in a week.
