Ravens safety Terrence Brooks, who was on the physically unable to perform list following last year’s season-ending knee injury, returned Tuesday as the Ravens held their final open training camp practice in Owings Mills.
Brooks injured his knee in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but returned ahead of schedule and was a surprise participant during voluntary organized team activities and mandatory minicamp. Still, he started training camp on the physically unable to perform list, and spent nearly three full weeks not participating.
His return gives the Ravens a boost at a position of need since safety Matt Elam tore his biceps early in training camp.
