The Ravens recently re-signed Robert Griffin III to back up Lamar Jackson for the next two years, but he recently came out and said that a long term relationship with the franchise was in doubt at one point. Appearing on “The Lounge” podcast, he revealed that he was nearly traded on a few separate occasions:
“Jacksonville tried to trade for me at the end of the preseason and right before the trade deadline, so we knew that was an opportunity and there’d be a chance if things didn’t work out with Nick Foles,” he said.
