Revisiting the Ravens’ trade for Marcus Peters, one year later

One year ago, the Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta sent a fifth-round pick and LB Kenny Young to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for CB Marcus Peters.

Since then, Peters has played 15 games for the Ravens. In that time, he’s amassed 199 yards and two touchdowns on five interceptions. He’s helped take the Ravens’ secondary to the next level. Last week, he notched his first career sack. In all, the trade was undoubtedly a masterful flip by DeCosta to bolster the roster and demonstrate his desire to win.
