The Ravens have made a move to address the loss of veteran outside linebacker Terrell Suggs.
Baltimore plans to sign veteran pass rusher Jason Babin, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun. Babin will go on the 53-man roster when the Ravens place Suggs on season-ending injured reserve with a torn Achilles.
Babin’s contract is a one-year deal, The Sun reported.
The Ravens opted to sign Babin over fellow veteran pass rusher Shaun Phillips, who also worked out with the Ravens Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Babin, 35, is an 11 12-year veteran with 64 ½ career sacks.
