Reports: Breshad Perriman Doesn't Have Torn ACL, Will Be Fine For 2016 Season

Finally, Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman found some good fortune.

Perriman did not need surgery on his ACL today, and instead received just a stem cell injection in his left knee, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It’s the best possible outcome after the injury, and means Perriman should be able to return for the start 2016 season. The Ravens offense should still wield a pair of speed threats in Perriman and veteran Mike Wallace.

Perriman underwent an arthroscopic procedure with Dr. James Andrews, who first wanted to check the severity of the injury.
