Just over a week ago, the Baltimore Ravens reportedly parted ways with inside linebackers coach Mark DeLeone. Now, they’ve reportedly found their replacement in Georgia Tech Defensive Coordinator Tyler Santucci.
Santucci, 36, has frequently bounced about in the college scene. Since 2015, he’s gone year-to-year with seven different colleges, all involving being a linebackers coach, defensive analyst or defensive coordinator.
According to a report from Yahoo Sports’ Kelly Quinlan, Santucci was sought after by numerous teams college programs in power five conferences, but the Ravens ultimately landed the coach.
Prior to coaching, Santucci was a four-year linebacker at Stony Brook and earned second-team All-American in 2009, along with being named Big South Defensive player of the year.
