Reports began circulating early on Monday that the Ravens were in the market for a veteran tight end, with big names such as Delanie Walker being thrown around. It appears they’ve in fact made their decision, but it’s not Walker who they’ve opted for:
While Walker would’ve made a ton of sense as a savvy veteran with an understanding of the Greg Roman offense, it looks as if Baltimore is banking on untapped potential in Adams, the Giants’ 2016 sixth-round pick out of South Carolina. Since then, Adams spent some time in Houston and New Orleans where he didn’t receive much playing time.
