The Baltimore Ravens have agreed on a five-year, $100 million deal with linebacker Roquan Smith on Tuesday, according to reports.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the contract was worth $45 million guaranteed and $60 million in total guarantees. The deal would make Smith the highest-paid linebacker in NFL history.
Smith came to Baltimore in a trade with the Chicago Bears one day before the trade deadline in 2022. The Ravens traded outside linebacker A.J. Klein and draft picks to Chicago for the star linebacker.
Smith is second in the NFL in combined tackles with 693 since he was drafted in 2018.
