Marchibroda was a true football man. He spent most of his life in the realm of professional football. In the 1950’s he was a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Cardinals. In addition to his two coaching ventures in Baltimore he coached for Indianapolis Colts in from 1992-1995. He worked with Jim Kelly as the Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator from 1989-1991.
