The 2017 season can be described in two words for the Baltimore Ravens; missed chances. Despite being hand delivered golden opportunity after golden opportunity, the Ravens failed to capitalize. In a year where the AFC as a whole was extremely weak and Baltimore’s schedule was one of the easiest in the league, they failed to take advantage and clinch a playoff berth.
During the 2017 season, the Ravens faced four playoff teams (five, if you include Pittsburgh twice). In addition, they faced countless backup quarterbacks, yet Baltimore finished 9-7 and failed to reach the post-season for the third straight year.
