There has been a cathartic routine following every disappointing loss for the Baltimore Ravens this season, and it was no different after Sunday's 25-20 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.
"It all starts with me not making those mistakes," quarterback Joe Flacco said.
"I felt like I lost this game for us by giving up a huge play down the field," cornerback Jimmy Smith said.
"We got to get it done. It starts with me," coach John Harbaugh said.
This is admirable. Even commendable. But the time is over for stepping up after the game.
