Ravens wide receiver Chris Givens was in bed late Tuesday night when his phone started vibrating nonstop. He knew immediately that something was probably wrong, and his fears were quickly confirmed. He learned that St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey, his close friend and former teammate, was shot twice in the head while he was in a car in Miami.
“When you see something like that, especially with a guy like Stedman, you don’t really believe it at first. That’s the last person I would expect to be in a situation like that.
