Looking for a replacement for rush linebacker Terrell Suggs, the Ravens worked out veterans Jason Babin and Shaun Phillips today in San Jose.
Neither player was immediately signed to a deal, though it's expected that the Ravens will add a veteran pass rusher soon with Suggs out for the season because of a torn left Achilles tendon.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said yesterday that the team was looking at both internal and external options at outside linebacker. For now, the plan is to start Elvis Dumervil at rush linebacker and keep Courtney Upshaw on the strong side with rookie fourth-rounder Za'Darius Smith and Albert McClellan providing depth.
