Ravens wide receiver Michael Campanaro injures quadriceps at practice, sources say

Ravens wide receiver Michael Campanaro suffered a quadriceps injury during organized team activities on Wednesday, according to NFL sources.

The severity of the injury for the River Hill graduate is still being determined. Campanaro battled hamstring injuries last season that limited him to four games, seven catches and 102 yards and a touchdown.

Campanaro was selected in the seventh round of the NFL draft last year out of Wake Forest. He is projected to play an increased role as a wide receiver and in the return game in his second season, provided that he's healthy.

He caught a career high three passes for 40 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in October and returned two punts for 17 yards, but the Clarksville native pulled his hamstring.
