With the decision that first-round pick Breshad Perriman was heading to injured reserve, the Ravens wanted to make some more moves with their roster. The Ravens have cut cornerback Asa Jackson and wide receiver Jeremy Ross today, both seeing a majority of the time on special teams.
Asa Jackson had bounced from the Ravens before being waived and signed by the New York Giants. The Giants would waive him just 2 days later, allowing Jackson to sign with the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Following a week 4 matchup against the Cleveland Browns where the Ravens secondary allowed journeyman quarterback Josh McCown to throw for nearly 500 yards, the Raven brought Jackson up to the 53-man roster.
