We won’t blame you for having low expectations/interest in the epic battle of the backups which was the fourth preseason game for the Baltimore Ravens. But if you spent the night watching college football instead, you missed a pretty darn good and admittedly interesting game against the Atlanta Falcons.
As expected, no starters for either team saw the field. There were, however, some backups and fringe roster players fighting for their jobs ahead of Saturday’s 53 player roster deadline.
The Ravens’ reserve defense struggled once again at first and allowed an opening drive score. They continued to allow the Falcons to pick up chunk gains, but limited them to a pair of field goals thereafter.
