After he was overlooked by the University of Texas out of high school due to his diminutive stature and Notre Dame pulled a scholarship offer late in the recruiting process, Ravens running back Justin Forsett learned at a young age how to deal with adversity.
That kind of resiliency has served Forsett well heading into his eighth NFL season. The former journeyman made the Pro Bowl as an alternate last season, rushing for a career-high 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns in a breakthrough season as the replacement for Ray Rice.
Forsett told the AFC rookie draft class to stay the course during a panel discussion at the league's rookie symposium in Aurora, Ohio, this week.
