As we move into the 'dog days' of Summer, I'm sure that most everyone just wants the monotonous routine of training camp to end, and for real football to begin. However, as boring as it is, training camp is a critical time for rookies and young players to develop and hone their game before their debuts.
But one high-profile Ravens rookie isn't on the field. Breshad Perriman, the much-debated wide receiver out of UCF has missed practically all of training camp on account of an injured knee. As I covered earlier today, the team has been awfully silent about his status, providing little to no specifics on his injury.
