The Baltimore Ravens didn’t do much to patch up their defensive line. Last season they kept eight defensive linemen, but they didn’t yield the results they were looking for. The defensive line was inconsistent and the run defense was fragile at times. The Ravens have Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce as the top two guys on the unit, however they essentially offer the same thing. Williams and Pierce are both space eaters who don’t usually get pushed around, neither player is a consistent pass rusher. Brent Urban, who is starting training camp on the PUP list, needs to be a consistent force for this unit.
