Whether the Baltimore Ravens make the playoffs or not, head coach John Harbaugh is off the hot seat.
"John Harbaugh will continue as our head coach for the 2019 season, and he and we are working on an extension to his existing contract, which expires after the 2019 season," read a one-sentence team statement.
Tapped to replace Brian Billick, Harbaugh has coached to a 102-72 record, including six playoff runs and a Super Bowl championship in 2013. The Ravens haven't made the playoffs since 2014.
If Harbaugh continues, however, it will likely be without longtime quarterback Joe Flacco, who was drafted the same year Harbaugh became coach, but is in his last season of guaranteed money.
