Ravens tight end Phillip Supernaw signs $510,000 exclusive-rights tender

Ravens tight end Phillip Supernaw signed his $510,000 exclusive-rights free agent tender Friday.

Supernaw joined the Ravens last offseason following a previous stint with the Houston Texans.

After being off and on the Ravens' practice squad and a two-game stint with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he caught one pass for three yards, Supernaw played six games on the Ravens' active roster. He caught two passes for 27 yards.

Supernaw is the second tight end on the Ravens' depth chart behind starter Crockett Gilllmore with Owen Daniels having signed with the Denver Broncos and Dennis Pitta's future uncertain after twice dislocating and fracturing his right hip.
