OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta isn't just looking to return to football. He's looking to get his old starting job back.
"I don't feel like I've lost a step," Pitta said after Friday's practice. "I don't feel like I'm any slower or do anything different than I did a couple of years ago, in my opinion. That's my goal. I want to be the lead guy."
Pitta's heightened expectations come in his first training camp since 2014. He fractured his right hip in 2013 and 2014, and he was unable to return off the physically unable to perform list last November.
