OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens rookie tight end Maxx Williams has found a comfort level with the lofty expectations surrounding him.

As the son of a former NFL player Brian Williams, the Ravens are confident the younger Williams has the size (6-foot-4, 249 pounds) and pedigree to immediately make an impact on the offense.

Williams left the University of Minnesota after his redshirt sophomore season when he caught 36 passes for 569 yards and eight touchdowns.
